Boosters Dance - January 24, 2015

Our biggest fundraiser is coming up, the Annual Boosters Dance is Saturday, January 24 at 7:00 pm at the Wilmington Knights of Columbus.  Tickets are $30 per person for an Italian Buffet Dinner and Dancing. Tickets can be purchased from any of the board members.

If you have anything that you would like to donate for the raffle or silent auction, please let us know - these items help with our fundraising tremendously!

Next Meeting Wednesday, December 12

Our next Boosters meeting will be Wednesday, December 12 in the cafeteria at 7:00.  

We will be discussing the dance, as it is coming up quickly next month (Sat Jan 24th).  We are looking for donations for our silent auction and raffle baskets - if you have anything please let us know!

Please contact a board member if you are able to donate for the dance, to buy tickets or if you are able to volunteer for a basketball game.

Wilmington Boosters would like to thank Reading Co-Operative Bank for donating over 50 cases of water to support our association! Boosters sells concessions at the Wilmington football and basketball home games, the funds raised go towards scholarships for Wilmington High School athletes! The bank has been a wonderful supporter of our association, and in turn is helping the athletes of WHS.

Events This Week

Our next Boosters meeting will be Wednesday, November 12 at 7:00 PM in the cafeteria.

Wilmington will be hosting another home football game this Friday and we are looking for volunteers for the snack shack.  If you can volunteer, please contact any of the Board Members or email Dawn Grasso.

Comedy Night at Giggles – Saturday, November 8, 2014

Our first fundraiser is planned for Saturday, November 8.  Tickets are $25.00 per person and include free pizza.  Contact a Boosters member to purchase tickets. We had a great time last year and are hoping to repeat it!

Doors open at 6:30, pizza at 7:00 and Comedy show starts at 8:00.

Orange Leaf in Burlington will donate 15% of proceeds of all purchases between 6pm to 10pm on Tuesday October 14, 2014 to Wilmington Boosters.

Thank you all for a great 2013-2014 school year!  

Congratulations to all of our seniors, we wish them the best of luck.  Thanks to your support we were able to give 28 scholarships to our 2014 seniors!!

Our next meeting will be at the high school on Wednesday, September 10 - time and location to be posted soon.

We will be discussing final plans for the scholarship awards and also finalizing the ballots for elections for next year's officers.  

The scholarship committee will be meeting separately after the general board meeting so if you are on the committee, you must be able to attend the separate meeting.

Next meeting Wednesday, April 2 - Room 111 WHS

Our next meeting will be at 7:00 pm in Room 111 at the High School.

We have a lot to cover including the scholarships for Senior night, elections for next year, and other fundraising ideas.

Boosters Dance - January 25

Please join us on Saturday, January 25 at 7:00 at the Wilmington Knights of Columbus for our annual fundraiser.  There will food, dancing, raffles, silent auction and fun for all.

Please note that this is our largest fundraiser for the Boosters Club - put on your dancing shoes and come on out and have some fun!

Our next meeting will be held in the high school cafeteria at 6:30.  This is our last meeting before the dance so we are hoping that all can attend.  

We will be looking for people to help out the night of the dance with set up, selling raffle tickets at the door, baking desserts and clean up.
